Bitumen Plant

In asphalt production, maintaining a certain process temperature is crucial for both plant performance and the quality of the hot mix. In order to guarantee a long-term good quality of the road surface, temperatures at bitumen plants must be precisely monitored during the production process. Temperature is also monitored and maintained during loading of the hot mix onto trucks at the plant and unloading at the site.

Truck loading and unloading monitoring

The transportation truck is monitored in a way that the hot asphalt temperature is measured as it is discharged from the mixer onto trucks that deliver the asphalt to the road construction site. In order to achieve a uniform quality and long-term performance of the road surface, it is extremely important that the hot mix reaches the job site at the specified temperature and is ready for road paving to begin.

Desilting

Ensure that silt is removed from nullas before the monsoons.

Monitor de-silting operations remotely to prevent water logging and to ensure that all nullas are cleaned prior to every monsoon. Use live GPS tracking by Scada-King to monitor the route taken by every truck, the number of trips made every day, and also get access to historical data.

Monitor desilting operations accurately

  • GPS vehicle tracking comes with a mobile app so that managers can see actual vehicle locations and daily trips at any time
  • All historical trips and routes are recorded for reconciliation purposes
  • Managers find it easy to estimate the volume of silt deposited in the dumping ground based on the total number of trips taken every day before the monsoon starts
  • Online password protected access keeps data safe
  • Complete reports available on total silt removal activity

Paver Block Plant

Monitor concrete paving block factories.

Monitor plants and factory production sites by getting access to live data. To keep quality standards high and to stop paver blocks from cracking, managers must make certain that the blocks are being produced as per their specifications.

Methods of quality control at Scada-King

  • A control center is established to monitor production time
  • Automatic mix proportions can be set up and programmed into the system
  • Production can be monitored in two ways: by block type or paver type
  • A list of delivery challan is maintained in the system which may be viewed by the contractors who do the work
  • The location of the truck during loading and unloading is recorded by GPS
  • All data is available in real time and in a secured environment
  • Daily reports can be emailed to managers
  • Managers can login to view live batch production data at any time

RMC Plant

Scada-King has a universal monitoring system that can be installed by contractors working with all PWDs, Municipal Corporations and any other infrastructure projects. Total plant monitoring by Scada-King gives various online tools to contractors and project managers to remotely monitor the strength and quality of ready-mix-concrete at all plant locations. The governmental agency is able to make sure that the concrete has been produced as per the specifications.

  • Remote monitor ready mix concrete plants in real time.
  • Data Acquisition and Diagnostic Tools.
  • Ensure strict quality control, reduce operational costs.

Scada-King ensures strict quality control at RMC Plants:

  • Owners and governmental agencies get direct access to live batch production data
  • Data is stored on secured servers and so it stays safe
  • Production takes places as per exact specifications
  • GPS is installed on the truck mixer and the software tracks the vehicle in real time and gives details of loading and unloading
  • Internet based software can be accessed from any location by going online
  • The central database server maintains a record of all data
  • User friendly reporting gives direct and easy access to all batch data

Road Pavers

Prevent paving failures and improve project management.

Scada-King brings to India an improved paving technology. The work of a road paver is to lay the asphalt flat on roads and to also provide some minor compaction. Scada-King helps governmental agencies in India to implement technology that ensures strict quality control during road paving by remotely monitoring the temperature and level of asphalt that is being maintained.

  • Live reporting ensures that the work is being performed as per specifications
  • Information is updated on the server in real time and is accessible online from any location
  • Real time monitoring of remote asset and driver with live GPS tracking
  • Data is never compromised as it is stored on secured servers
  • The thickness of the layer of asphalt can be monitored
  • The speed of the paver can be monitored
  • Road job summary can be sorted and accessed by section or by project name
  • Provides complete control over the process at the job site

Road Rollers

The intelligent road roller compaction system from Scada-King is a valuable tool for building high quality roads. Intelligent Compaction is a collection of roller features that can be used to monitor and adjust the compaction process. Our tried and tested solution is the most robust in the industry and is also widely used by OEMs. The Intelligent Compaction (IC) system may include:

  • Accelerometers and a highly accurate GPS to track machine-ground interaction and the position of the roller.
  • Infrared temperature gauges to monitor the temperature at the ground surface.
  • A computer with a dedicated software program that processes compaction data and reports measurement values.
  • Display readouts and controls to give feedback to the roller operator and allow for adjustment of compaction operations.

This system implements quality control in this way:

  •  Records the number of roller passes and measures material stiffness
  •  All quality checks of the roller work occurs in real time
  •  Compaction and density is maintained as per the quality specified
  •  The pre-defined asphalt temperature for specific passes is maintained
  •  Road job summary may be reviewed by project, section, or layer
  •  Maintains a continuous record of color-coded plot
  •  Compaction values are included in job summaries
