Bitumen Plants

In asphalt production, maintaining a certain process temperature is crucial for both plant performance and the quality of the hot mix. In order to guarantee a long-term good quality of the road surface, temperatures at bitumen plants must be precisely monitored during the production process. Temperature is also monitored and maintained during loading of the hot mix onto trucks at the plant and unloading at the site.

Truck loading and unloading monitoring

The transportation truck is monitored in a way that the hot asphalt temperature is measured as it is discharged from the mixer onto trucks that deliver the asphalt to the road construction site. In order to achieve a uniform quality and long-term performance of the road surface, it is extremely important that the hot mix reaches the job site at the specified temperature and is ready for road paving to begin.
